During the pastorate of St. Anthony's Church in St. Louis, Missouri, by his nephew, Father Bernard, Br. Adrian celebrated his Golden Jubilee as a Franciscan on December 15, 1908 , in the church which this good Brother had built over forty years before. Very Rev. Cyprian Banscheidt, OFM, at that time Provincial, celebrated the Solemn High Mass, whilst the Very Rev. Frowin Conrad, OSB, Abbot of Conception, Missouri, preached the jubilee sermon.

At this time the new church was under construction and a number of close friends of Brother Adrian donated the splendid window in the transcept of the new church, representing the Birth of Christ, as a memorial of this his Golden Jubilee. Father Bernard had the good fortune to procure as organist of St. Anthony's, the services of Prof. Aloys Rhode, who shortly after his arrival organized the St. Anthony Choristers.
